September 2025 Event Information
Hello, Adventurers! As usual, it’s Katie here to bring you the latest from the brilliant minds of the Alliance LARP Colorado team - today, we are excited to announce that if you’re reading this, tickets and pre-registration for the September ACO event; Shadow of the Colossus! Tickets can be found HERE and preregistration HERE . Without further ado, let’s dive into the details!
Up first as usual, I’ll be talking about site information! This event takes us back to Camp Tumbleson Lake, same as last event, but with some upgrades! Instead of hiking all the way up to the Fortis site, we will be encamping at the Sky area - the one with the blue tents much closer to the tavern. On top of that, we have the site to ourselves for the rest of the season! That means no other groups bumping into us as we play (Though a skeleton crew full time is still at site to support guest hosting), and the tavern building to ourselves! Event timing will be very similar to the last event; the site address is 173 Co Rd 96, Ward, CO 80481 , a bit more than an hour outside of Denver. Players are welcome to come on site and claim bunks as early as 5pm. Checkin will be at the Arts and crafts building near the main parking lot, which is also where NPC camp will be. Opening announcements will take place at 9:00pm Friday, followed by a 9:30 soft layon while plot starts to spin the first pieces of content up. Game will run until Sunday at noon; announcements will take place at the Tavern. Please be there on time to receive important site information, and communicate in advance if you will be late so we can keep you in the loop.
Pre-reg has a few difference from the usual this game; first things, due to how late tickets went up for sale, reg is open until Sunday instead of the usual Friday close date - but time is still short, so make sure you don’t delay! Tickets are the same as ever, running you $110, $85, and $10 for full PC, NPC Shift, and full NPC tickets respectively and factoring in our prereg discount. Prices go up on Sunday, don’t forget! Due to a minor logistics error, there are currently two events set for the same date in the CMA; one of them is a zero logistics period event that can’t be registered for, so please make sure you select the correct event to sign in for.
Our famous meal service returns, led by Shy as usual, with 5 meals running you just $30. We highly encourage this option for players as kitchen access on site is limited and we always do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions. The menu follows:

*Friday Dinner: 8:00pm to 9:30pm Shepherd's pie and apple crisp dessert
*Saturday Breakfast: 9:00am to 10:30am Biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs
*Saturday Lunch: 1:00pm to 2:30pm Pulled pork sandwiches, Mac n cheese, Southern Lima Beans
*Saturday Dinner: 7:00pm to 8:30pm Rustic beef stew, Roasted Vegetable, Yeast Rolls, cobbler (fruit undecided)
*Sunday Breakfast: 9:00am to 10:30am Hungry adventurer bake (breakfast casserole; potatoes, eggs, sausage, veggies, and cheese)
Vegetarian Menu:
*Friday Dinner: 8:00pm to 9:30pm Shepherd's pie (made with lentils) and apple crisp dessert
*Saturday Breakfast: 9:00am to 10:30am Biscuits and potato & onion gravy, scrabble eggs
*Saturday Lunch: 1:00pm to 2:30pm BBQ Lentil “Sloppy Joe”, Mac n cheese, Southern Lima Beans
*Saturday Dinner: 7:00pm to 8:30pm Rustic Chickpea stew, Roasted Vegetable, Yeast Rolls, cobbler
*Sunday Breakfast: 9:00am to 10:30am Hungry adventurer bake (breakfast casserole; potatoes, eggs, veggies, and cheese)
Plot is playing it close to the chest on this one, so even I don’t have a hint of what is to come for your characters as they return to Willow’s Rest… but its safe to assume that the action will be breakneck as usual, and the late night mods just as silly! Plot is working hard to get IBGAs wrapped before game on, so keep an eye out for announcements about that!
